Former Employee Accused Of Forging Company Checks To Pay College Tuition
JOHNSTON COUNTY — A former employee at a Johnston County arcade bar is facing felony charges after allegedly stealing company checks to pay for his college tuition.

Authorities say 33-year-old Tremaine Rivers-Meredith of Raleigh, turned his access to Mulligans Arcade & Tavern on Bratton Drive, Garner, into a personal funding stream — not for luxury items, but for something more unexpected: his education.
According to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, Rivers-Meredith allegedly took blank checks from the business during his time of employment, forging two of them and writing them out to Colorado Technical University. The checks, totaling $2,480, were reportedly used to cover fall semester tuition.
He was arrested September 11 on three felony charges: larceny by an employee, uttering a forged instrument, and obtaining property by false pretense. He was given a $25,000 secured bond.

So was he a criminology major?
What was he going to study? Business Management.
So he gets a higher bond then those who had multiple drug & gun charges? Make it make sense
