Smithfield Woman Arrested On Charges Of Sexting Underage Minor
JOHNSTON COUNTY — A Smithfield woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly sending sexually explicit photos to a juvenile.
Terri Lynn Brewer, 35, of Bonnie Avenue, was arrested on September 26 and charged with felony disseminating obscenity to a minor under the age of 16. According to an arrest warrant, the incident occurred on August 29.
Authorities said Brewer and the victim recently met at a local school event before the alleged sexting took place. The matter was initially reported to the Princeton Police Department, which referred the investigation to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s detectives conducted an investigation into the case before securing an arrest warrant for Brewer. She was later arrested and released on a $30,000 secured bond.
Due to the victim being a minor, no further details about the incident have been disclosed at this time.

This is a relative of hers and we have seen all the messages. The guy was claiming to be 22 years old and a day later after he got what he wanted which want even pictures of her they where internet pictures he started extorting her daughter for money. That is when she looks him up and found out who he was and she went straight to the police. This kid is doing it to a few people in his school. This article is mis leading because they’re making it look like it was a planned meet up but it want. It was a question of have you ever seen him after this and one time at a football game he was there The truth will be coming out. This family has never been in to no mess like this

Sorry relative, if that ws the case she would not have been charged. JoCo Sheriff Office deals with this crap everyday and would not arrest her if it was just google images or it happened even remotely as you say, They have iron clad proof or a confession. As far as anyone can get a waarant on anyone elese that is not true. You can go to the magistrate swear on bible that someone did something illegal to you but that may result in a summons which means the accused gets a court date to let the judge decide guilty or not.

Its not easy, you would need probable cause and even then the Magistrate may or may not issue a criminal summons, not a warrant and only if it is a misdemeanor charge. Both parties would go to court in front of a judge to determine guilt or innocence if the summons was issued….
To the expert; I have gone to the magistrates office several times and swore out a warrant that was completely fabricated. All it took was my statement, hand on a Bible, and about 10 minutes of my time. Trust me, they will just sign out a warrant and the D.A.’s office here is very broken. Don’t even get me started about the so called judges.

This doesn’t even sound like her. I have known her family for a long time, and I know how this man-made news works they take something and run with it. There are a lot of people in jail, men and women that have children. News flash, “having a child or children do not negate crime.” There was a warrant taken out on her which clearly state there is probable cause for her arrest. Just because you know someone doesn’t mean you know everything they do.

She deserves everything that is going to happen to her.. she definitely knew he was a minor if her daughter introduced her to him at a school function. She just didn’t care and probably thought she wouldn’t get caught. Shame on her and everyone defending her and making excuses for her…. Common sense ain’t so common anymore!
