Report: Large Amount Of Cash Stolen During Break-In
KENLY – A Kenly-area resident says a large amount of money was stolen from his home during a break-in.
The incident reportedly happened on February 23 in the Stancil’s Chapel community. The vctim said he was away from his home between 3:00pm and 9:00pm that day. When he returned home he notice a small safe was missing. The safe allegedly contained $125,325 in cash and a pocket watch valued at $200.
The home was reportedly left unlocked while the victim was away.
The theft is under investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.

Just what I was thinking. A normal person would have that kind of money in the bank earning a little interest and being secured. By not having that money in the bank is a red flag to me and as another person said, who keeps their doors unlocked these days.
If I had that much money…..I’d buy a safe that you couldn’t just walk off with…..smh….

A. Someone KNEW he kept his door unlocked
B. Someone KNEW about that money
C. Someone has been on a crime spree, over & over & over
D. Someone is a idiot for not locking his door with ALLLLLLLLL that loot (and that’s if there was really that much)
E. Some people are just shady ie; drug dealers
