Car Strikes Benson Home
BENSON – A Benson home was damaged after being struck by a car. It happened Saturday morning on North Lincoln Street.
Benson Police said a 52 year-old woman was operating a 2019 Dodge when she suffered a medical issue and traveled off the roadway. Her car struck the garage area of the home.
The woman was transported to Wake Med for observation and treatment.
No one inside the residence was injured.
Johnston County Building Inspections deemed the garage area of the home as unsafe but the family was allowed to stay in the residence.
