Catalytic Converters Stolen From Vehicles At Used Car Dealership

BENSON – Catalytic converters were stolen from four vehicles parked at a Johnston County used car dealership. The theft was discovered Monday, May 19 at Dunn Deal Auto at 1620 NC Highway 27 West, near the Harnett County line.

An employee reported a fence had been damaged by the suspect or suspects to gain entry. Catalytic converters were removed from a Hyundai SUV, Ford F-150 truck, and two Honda passenger cars.

The incident is under investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
