School Board Approves Personnel Recommendations

SMITHFIELD – The Johnston County Board of Education approved the following recommendations, from Superintendent Dr. Eric Bracy, during a special-called meeting July 25, 2023:

Principal – Two-Year Contract
• Elizabeth Patton – Innovation Academy

Assistant Principals – Two-Year Contract
• Ashley Foisy – McGee’s Crossroads Elementary
• Christopher Howell – Corinth Holders High
• Jennifer Langston – Cleveland Middle
• Tonya Painter – West Johnston High
• Natalie Pittman – Archer Lodge Middle
• Donald Thompson – Clayton High
• Jamal Troublefield – Cleveland Middle

Central Administrator – Two-Year Contract
• Latonya Pender – Director of Curriculum (ELA and Social Studies)
