Shots Fired At Car Break-In Suspect, JCSO Says

ANGIER – A western Johnston County man reportedly fired a gun at a suspect who was trying to break into a vehicle.

The incident happened around 1:00am Tuesday, May 13 on Plainview Pointe Drive, off Plainview Church Road, off NC 210.

The homeowner saw an unknown person attempting to break into his vehicle and reportedly fired at least six rounds from a handgun at the suspect.

The suspect fled before officers arrived. There was no evidence to indicate the suspect was struck by the gunfire.

    either way good job maybe they will think next time before doing some FAFO stuff

    • I agree with you about it being warning shots or there would be more damage to the car then the person breaking in would have caused. Now my feelings are he should have gotten the guy then he could not have to think about breaking into another car. He would have been bye-bye.

  2. Maybe tell the whole story of how the person trying to break into the car started shooting first after being asked to leave by the owner!

  3. Or get this? The person breaking in was already IN the car and proceeded to shoot first once the home owner told him to leave forcing the home owner to return fire, tell the story truthfully

  4. Did the JCSO fail to say that the suspect fired shots at the homeowner first & that’s when the homeowner returned fire?! And is there an ongoing investigation with the JCSO for this incident?
