Three-Vehicle Crash Causes Traffic Delays, Sends One To Hospital
JOHNSTON COUNTY – A three-vehicle accident disrupted traffic Wednesday morning on Buffalo Road at Fire Department Road in the Wilson’s Mills area.
The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. and involved a passenger car, a pickup truck, and a work truck.
Emergency responders transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision. Johnston County EMS and the Wilson’s Mills Fire Department were also on the scene.

The cause was the Honda pulled out in front of the white truck. The white truck t.boned the honda which made white truck spin around a couple times ending in it slamming into the work truck. Watched it happen and was able to get by to turn right onto buffalo before anyone even responded. Bet you a state trooper wrote a ticket not even 5 min later right at the stop light at Buffalo and 42 then drove down 42 and hadn’t even been alerted that the wreck had happened it. I’m sure he was probably who responded being he was so close at that point.

That area is the Bermuda triangle for driving brains. People’s ability to drive just disappears there. Wrecks happen there and at the two roads in the straight section just past there all of the time. There is no excuse for it because you can see traffic coming forever.
With the massively increased traffic on Buffalo Rd, it’s gotten difficult to turn left at that stop sign. I hate to see it, but that intersection needs turn lanes and a traffic signal. All-way stops are time and fuel wasters.
YASSSSSS! This intersection is a constant issue now, further complicated by Little Divine dumping onto Buffalo at the same spot.
Imagine that, this intersection needs signals and a 3 way stop before more wrecks happens or something terrible happens.

Idk if I’m reading to much into what you replied but it seems you’re kinda being a smart a**..I was at the stop sign when the it happened. If the Honda wouldn’t have done what they did or was actually paying attention or whatever the case then the wreck wouldn’t have happened Goofy. 🤦
