School Bus Involved In Minor Crash With SUV

CLAYTON – A Johnston County school bus was involved in a minor accident with an SUV on Thursday afternoon. The incident happened around 4:55 p.m. at the intersection of Little Creek Church Road and Rock Pillar Road.

At the time of the crash, bus number 664 had no students on board, only the bus driver and a monitor. The SUV had two occupants.
All four individuals were assessed at the scene by Johnston County EMS and did not require hospitalization.

The Wilson’s Mills Fire Department responded to assist with traffic control.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the accident.

So this is basically a non-story.
basically created their own traffic jam. Bus had to be towed?
This is a really bad intersection. There needs to be an evaluation done. This is at least the fifth wreck in the last few months there. There will be a fatality soon. So much development around that area. It needs to be a stop light, or at least a four-way stop.
