Two Vehicles Collide On NC 42

SELMA — A two-vehicle collision involving a minivan and an SUV occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of NC Highway 42 East and Lynch Road, resulting in minor injuries to two individuals.

Johnston County EMS responded to the scene and evaluated all those involved. Although two people reported minor injuries, everyone declined transport to the hospital.

One lane of NC 42 was temporarily closed for about an hour as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
