Security Footage Leads To Arrest In Attempted Business Break-In

SMITHFIELD – A suspect has been arrested following an attempted break-in at a Johnston County business that was captured on surveillance video.

In the early morning hours of Saturday, September 27, security cameras recorded a man attempting to break into the Brogden Community Mart, located at 7323 Brogden Road.

Deputies from the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and, after reviewing the footage, were able to identify the suspect and secure arrest warrants.

Later that day, deputies located and arrested Tristan Ray Tyndall, 29, of Howell Road in Princeton. Tyndall was charged with attempted breaking and entering, injury to real property, and resisting a public officer.

He was booked into the Johnston County Detention Center under an $11,000 secured bond.

Damage to the store’s entry door is estimated at approximately $500.

  1. At what point do they make him become responsible for his actions?? He talks big and then goes to jail and gets sympathy. Unless you know him personally and what he’s capable of, please don’t pity this person.
