Motor Grader Catches Fire While Clearing Interstate
JOHNSTON COUNTY – A NC Department of Transportation motor grader was destroyed by flames, Wednesday night.

The heavy piece of equipment was being used to clear snow and ice from Interstate 95 between Selma and Micro when it caught fire.

Selma and Micro fire crews responded and put out the flames. I-95 northbound was briefly closed until the scene could be cleared.
