KS Bank Funds New Fire Truck For Micro Volunteer FD

SMITHFIELD – KS Bank has partnered with the Micro Fire Department to help bring a brand-new fire truck to the community. The funding reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to empowering local organizations through accessible, local financing.
“Community lending isn’t just about dollars, it’s about trust, partnership, and shared purpose,” said Earl W. Worley, Jr., President and CEO of KS Bank. “We’re honored to work with the Micro Fire Department and help them get the equipment they need to serve our hometowns more safely and effectively.”
Kelly Aycock, Commercial Relationship Manager at KS Bank, worked with the department on the project. “As a community bank, we believe in supporting those who protect us, and our partnership allows us to give back in a way that makes a lasting impact. Partnering with the Micro Fire Department and all of our other local fire departments is just another testament to our commitment to serve our local communities with pride and integrity,” shared Aycock.
Micro Fire Department Chief Joey Creech said, “Choosing KS Bank wasn’t just about a rate; it was about a relationship. Our Officers and Board of Directors looked at several lenders, and KS Bank rose to the top because they understand Micro, they invest in the local community, and they made the entire process for our new truck easy. They walked us through the options, helped us navigate the best path forward, and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way.”
