Three Suspects Charged In Kenly-Area Break-In

KENLY — Three men have been charged in connection with a residential break-in that occurred in late July near Kenly, according to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident was reported on July 26 by a 71-year-old homeowner who returned to his residence on Old Dam Road to find it had been burglarized. Among the items stolen were two chainsaws, a hammer drill, and a backpack blower, with a total estimated value of $1,538.

Following an investigation, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office arrested the following individuals on separate dates:

Victor Romero, of Raleigh — arrested September 3

Logan Joshua Neal, of Pine Level — arrested September 4

Kenneth Michael Harper, of Princeton — arrested September 8

All three suspects are charged with breaking and entering, larceny, and felony conspiracy.

  1. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Glad they got caught, hopefully they’ll be gone for a while this time. I know Harper is probably on his third strike, at least.
