Vehicle Seized From Driver Involved In High Speed Chase, JCSO Says
CLAYTON – A Wayne County man was arrested after he reportedly led law enforcement officers on a high speed chase.

Jacob Michael Schuch, age 20, of Goldsboro is facing criminal charges.
On July 13 around 1:57 a.m., a Johnston County Sheriff’s Office SAFE team deputy attempted to stop a car reportedly speeding on I-42 at Ranch Road near Clayton.
The driver refused to stop, deputies said. The chase continued into Smithfield where the driver turned onto a side street and stopped in a random driveway.
Schuch was charged with felony fleeing to elude arrest, reckless driving wanton disregard, speeding 97 mph in a 45 mph zone, failure to stop for a red light, misdemeanor marijuana possession, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
His vehicle was seized under the NC Run and Done Law.
Schuch was given a $25,000 secured bond.

What an absolute idiot. Stop running from cops…you cannot outrun their radios bonehead.
Some jail time may help this fool.
IF he has a DL it should be suspended for a year or two.
