Driver Arrested After Low-Speed Pursuit Ends At Home
JOHNSTON COUNTY – A 53-year-old Johnston County man was arrested after allegedly leading Johnston County deputies on a low-speed chase that ended at his own home.

Brent Allen Deans, of Black Pine Lane, Angier, a western Johnston County address, faces multiple charges including felony fleeing to elude arrest, felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked, operating a vehicle without insurance, and failure to heed blue lights and siren.
The incident began on the night of October 3, when a deputy attempted to stop a Jeep SUV on NC Highway 210 near Old Fairground Road. According to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, the driver slowed down but refused to stop, continuing to drive at low speeds until reaching Black Pine Lane.
Once stopped, Deans allegedly told deputies he did not see the patrol car’s blue lights or hear the siren.
A search of the vehicle reportedly turned up a white, crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia.
Deans was taken into custody and later released on a $10,000 secured bond. No injuries were reported.

10k wow
how is that felony fleeing to allude arrest? he clearly just wanted to get the car to his driveway before being arrested. classic insecure police overcharging
Nate you’re an idiot, this is clear as day felony fleeing to allude arrest. Blue lights behind you means you pull over immediately when safe, not drive another 3 and a half miles home. A traffic stop isn’t when/where you want it it’s where the officer determines it is. Dude drove his car home just to get another charge and have it towed anyways 😂💀 stupid games get stupid prizes!
Thank you lol
I am all for Felony Fleeing and Eluding charges, but based on what you printed he did not meet the elements of the crime.. Fleeing to Elude (M) all day long though…
He drove three and a half miles from the point he had blue lights behind him. Two aggravating factors were present; driving with his license revoked and having drugs on him. Seems like he was charged properly 😂 it’s simple don’t flee police with a suspended license and drugs in the car. Police-1 Old man-0
