Archer Lodge Man Injured After Being Shot At His Home

An Archer Lodge man was shot at his home Sunday afternoon.  Johnston County deputies responded to the shooting around 2:45pm at an address on Raintree Drive off Buffalo Road.

Deputies found 21 year-old Daniel Franklin Strong suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of a serious but non-life threatening injury.

Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the shooting. No additional details were released.
