CLAYTON – The Clayton Police Department will host a Fraud Awareness Seminar on Tuesday, August 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the Clayton Center, located at 111 E. Second Street in Clayton.

With the rise in reported frauds, Clayton Police want to educate the public more about ongoing common scams and schemes, fraud networks, and ways for people to prevent themselves from becoming a victim.

Representatives from Clayton Police, Internal Revenue Service, US Secret Service, and the State Employees Credit Union will conduct a panel discussion and Q&A with attendees.

The event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required due to limited seating.
