Ripe Revival uses the produce to create value-added products and consumer packaged goods as well as offer delivery of food subscription boxes to consumers’ homes from the Triangle to the coast.

  1. You know what’s absolutely WILD….. Clayton and Johnston County use to have lots and lots of farms and guess what….You could go there and pick your own food! Shocking!!! Now Clayton celebrates a bus with veggies. I’d rather have the fields

  2. Well, @ nonea- if you had read the actual article you should understand that this service seems to let the OUR local “FARMERS” to actually make SOME EXTRA $$$$ off their not so great produce, and thus provide a VERY economical savings for OUR not so fortunate neighbors!! That is of course in opposition to taking advantage of said FARMERS by raiding their fields like a bunch of cheap *$$ thieves. What is really “WILD” is the fact that these wonderful FARMERS are graciously providing this service for all sort of folks…
I get it, you ain’t happy about the unGdly growth in JOCO, I’m not either… but cut these folks some slack for providing this service for folks! It’s a great idea all the way around!! Just sayin’-Blessings to all!
