Baskets Bloom With Treats At Clayton’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

CLAYTON – Families are enjoying sweet treats following the Town of Clayton’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by Clayton Parks and Recreation.

It took a matter of minutes to scoop up all the colorful Easter eggs. More than 12,000 of them lined the Clayton High School football field, awaiting eager young hunters. There were three age-based zones, allowing children six and under to search for eggs in their own area. The energy was contagious as the kids raced across the turf, laughing and cheering with every treasure found.

An added benefit of the event was the chance for families to explore a variety of free activities. Saturday morning was filled with lively music, outdoor games, and inflatable bounce houses. Even the Easter Bunny made a special appearance. While kids had a blast meeting with the furry and festive celebrity, parents gathered with phones and cameras, ready to capture giggles, jumps, and perfect poses.

Each year, this annual event brings hundreds of people together to take part in a fun and safe environment. The event has quickly become a favorite spring tradition, drawing residents from all corners of the community to celebrate a day of playful excitement.
