Lisa Cyrelle Denton Vick

Lisa Cyrelle Denton Vick, 62, of Princeton passed away at her home on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025. She was born on May 7, 1963 in Johnston County to the late Alfred Hammond Denton and Mary Lou Duncan Denton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Benjamin Vick; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Hill and brother, Gary Hammond Denton.

Lisa was a wife, mother, daughter, sister and cousin and great friend to many.

The love of Lisa’s life, even after his death, was her husband Bennie. They enjoyed spending time together; including riding their motorcycles and taking trips to the beach.

Lisa had a deep love for her dogs and often referred to them as her babies.

During Lisa’s working career, she enjoyed her employment with Princeton Manufacturing where she met and made numerous new friends. Lisa’s next career adventure was at Walmart where she achieved the position of Department Manager.

Lisa had a big heart which made her a great friend. She was always ready and willing to help someone in need. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Lisa is survived by her sister, Cathy Morris (Skip); cousin, Deborah Coggins; sister-in-law, Pamela Denton; nieces, Lorri (Tommy), Allison (Bob), Cathryn (Jose’), Dana (Scott), and Erica; canine companions, Harley, Angel, Haley and Phebe; and a host of family and friends including, 6 great nephews; 1 great niece; and 1 great great nephew as well as a dear friend, Billy Peedin and her best friend, Sandra Wood.

Mrs. Vick will lie in repose at Casey Funeral Home & Cremations on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm.
