Vehicles Collide On Powhatan Road
CLAYTON – Minor injuries were reported following a two vehicle accident on Powhatan Road at Colonial Drive.
The collision occurred shortly before 11:00 a.m. today (Thursday).
Wilson’s Mills Fire, Johnston County EMS, and the State Highway Patrol responded.

All of the traffic from Nova Nordisk has made an absolute mess of this road.
Novo is the largest tax payer in Johnston county and accounts for over 6% of the property tax liability for the county. Grifols is in a distant second place. This doesn’t even take in to account the tax revenue that is generated by all the workers. Your complaint should lie solely on the local county government whom should have listened long ago and prioritized improvements in that area in their comprehensive land use plan.
