Charles Jeffrey Ward

Charles Jeffrey Ward, 55, of Smithfield, passed away on Sunday, October, 5, 2025. He was born on May 9, 1970 in Johnston County to Dorothy Rose Mozingo Holder and the late Charles Phillip Ward. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Holder; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Mozingo; maternal grandfather, George Mozingo; and paternal grandmother, Doris Ward.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Rose Mozingo Holder; brother, James Holder; sister, Sheila Bishop (Tim) and a maternal aunt, Joan Newcomb.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 3:00 PM at New Life Fellowship of Smithfield, 2777 NC Highway 210, Smithfield, NC 27577 with the Reverend Will Roland and Reverend Gary Buffkin officiating.
