Beacon’s Closet is located at 10 West 13th Street, is admittedly a tad chaotic but when on the hunt for a great deal, it is easy to overlook. Beacon’s closet is the place to go for the thrifty girls out there. The racks towards the front of the shop are even color coordinated! The shop carries both modern and vintage pieces. You can pick up some amazing designer pieces for low prices. The great thing about Beacon’s is you can find items from any season. They also carry funky stockings, socks, jewelry and sunglasses. It’s also a great place to take pieces that are sitting around your closet and give them a second life.
Darling at 1 Horatio Street is newly renovated and is certainly worth a trip to Greenwich Village. If you consider your style to be flirty femme, you don’t want to skip this shop on your day out. Darling also carries some vintage garments while offering pieces that can easily be dressed up or down. The store is bright and welcoming and there is even a little garden out back.
