2 Sisters Changing The Way Handbags Are Made

2 Sisters Changing The Way Handbags Are Made

“By Creatives, For Creatives” was the inspiration for the San Francisco based bag line, Moseley, crafted by the sister duo, Madison and Malone Detro. Their niche is simple and precise; to cater to artist and creative-folk who are seeking stylish and functional bags to carry their laptops, sketchbooks, fabric samples and other things artistic-types might schlep around. Their first collection, which consists of 3 bag styles,  The Moseley Portfolio, the Moseley Sling and the Moseley Envelope, contains high-end Italian leather, braided leather cording and brass hardware. As admirers of design and architecture, both receiving their bachelor’s degree in architecture and their master’s degree in fashion design, they enjoy and appreciate well-made and ingeniously designed goods.

Although all of their products are made in the United States, only the design process is in San Francisco. Eventually, the Detro sisters would like for 100% of its Moseley line to be produced and manufactured in San Francisco because of its huge network base of designers and artist. Since 2008, the Madison and Malone Detro has always wanted to design a company together.  Now they are able to turn that dream into a reality by bring affordable luxury to their consumers without them having to break the bank.
