Every season justifies a new wardrobe. It only sounds fitting. Summer has arrived and that means lightweight fabrics, prints and neutral tones. Summer trends are finally here.
Women’s wardrobes have transitions from pants to sundresses and sandals. But for men? Trends for men are a little casual, but still tasteful.
One classic item that is essential for men is a clean, button-down shirt. T-shirts work, too, but let’s say you, as a gentleman want to go clean and simple, but add a little oomph to your ensemble. A great alternative to jeans are shorts. And not short-shorts, but great selections such as Chino shorts, cargo shorts or Twill shorts. H&M has a variety of bottom pieces from the different styles and fabrics to solids and prints. An essential piece for summer is Incotex’s white cotton shorts. What makes it a great piece to add to Summer trend is the color, cut, and style. And because white is such great shade for the summer, any vibrant color such as blue-tones or neutrals such as khaki paired with these shorts will convey “Summer.”
Shoes make or break an entire outfit. It is crucial to have staple pieces within your wardrobe to switch in-and-out of seasons. As a gentleman, when you complete your top and bottom selections, your shoes can define your whole aesthetic. Boat shoes will be a staple in men’s fashion, but makes a large appearance in warmer seasons. Bellfrield designed a pair of boat shoes that play with colors navy and yellow. Although most will not be daring to wear such a color scheme, navy and yellow complement each other very well when paired. Although navy is a darker shade that is more fitting for Fall and/or Winter, the yellow lightens the contrast, bringing it to be an appropriate color scheme for the warmer tones.
