5 Injured In Kenly-Area Collision

Five people, including two children, were transported to area hospitals shortly before 9:00pm Monday after two cars collided at the intersection of Beulahtown Road and Bay Valley Road outside of Kenly.

The driver of a red car was pinned in their vehicle after it overturned in a ditch.  The Kenly Fire Department responded and helped free the entrapped driver.

The accident remains under investigation by the State Highway Patrol.
