Selma Police Bike Rodeo Set For May 10

SELMA – On May 10 from 10:00am until 2:00pm, the Selma Police Department will be hosting a Bike Rodeo at Selma Baptist Church, located at 1500 N. Webb Street. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children to learn about bike safety.

Officers will be on hand to help children understand the rules of the road while riding their bikes, including important safety tips. There will also be a bike and helmet inspection.

There will be free hot dogs, chips, and drinks for all participants.

The Selma Police Department looks forward to seeing you and your children at the Bike Rodeo.

Required to participate: Bike, 5 years of age or older (must be able to ride a bicycle, or parents must be willing to help their child through the course), and bring a bike helmet (if you have one)
