Judith Patricia Bloyer

Birth Date: 10/13/1960
Deceased Date: 09/28/2025
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, baby sister, daughter, aunt, and dear friend, Judith Patricia “Judy†(Roche) Bloyer.
Judy, 64, was born in Hyde Park, Boston, MA, on October 13, 1960. Her greatest joys in life were her marriage to her loving and devoted husband of over 26 years, her puppies, her children and her grandchildren. Despite her accomplishments as a Human Resources professional, Judy was better known by her loved ones as an artist – a legacy that she was very proud to continue from her mother, and to have passed down to both of her daughters. Judy was at her happiest when she was collaborating with her husband on their latest home renovation plans and would bubble over with excitement as she showed off her newest interior design ideas to friends and family. Her smile was bright and warm, and her boisterous laugh could fill a room.
Judy will be remembered and deeply missed for her thoughtfulness. She expressed her love through thoughtful and meaningful gestures, often showering those she loved with carefully chosen gifts that reflected her deep care and understanding. It was always her mission to create special moments for her family on birthdays and holidays. Her generosity extended far beyond material things – her every action was filled with intentionality and consideration, making those around her feel truly valued and cherished. Her greatest gift to the world was her abundant insight. Her family will cling to her memory, and the wisdom she imparted to us, until the end of time.
Judy passed away peacefully in her beautiful home on September 28, 2025, in Smithfield, North Carolina, surrounded with love by those she held nearest to her heart. Her most cherished husband, Bill “BillyBoy†Bloyer; children, Kate “Katie Lou†Stiles, Erin “Errey Berry†Donovan and husband Ali, and Taylor “Tay†Bloyer and wife Kyla; grandchildren, Jaylen, Lucy, and Aiden; and puppies, Reko and Dori, will miss her forever. She will live on in the hearts of her surviving siblings, Jeffrey, Joyce Marlow, Julianne, and Jay; nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends as she joins her parents, James and Phyllis Roche; siblings, Jerry, Jimmy, Joe, Jane Howard, and Jack; and countless pets who predeceased her.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held in her honor and details kept private within her family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National MS Society, a charity held near and dear to Judy’s heart.
God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
