What’s better than being able to replicate your favorite celebrity’s makeup up look flawlessly? Being able to flawlessly replicate that look with uber affordable products from Maybelline Cosmetics! Maybelline spokesmodel, Jourdan Dunn, walked the 2017 Met Gala Runway wearing a beauty ensemble that complemented the theme for the Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons-themed soirée. The theme will open for exhibition on May 4th at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for their Costume Institute exhibition.
Face + Cheeks: Renee started Jourdan’s skin with Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation in a combination of shades 340 and 360. She then applied Maybelline New York Master Blush Palette, using the lighter shades to highlight and contour the cheeks, nose and high points on Jourdan’s face and inner tear ducts, and the darker shades created a bit bold drama on the apples of her cheeks. To finish off the look, Renee dusted Jourdan with Maybelline York NewMaster Fix Setting + Perfecting Loose Powder to keep the makeup intact and matte.
Eyes: To start the frame of the eye, Renee used the Maybelline New York Brow Precise Fiber Volumizing in Deep Brown. To create a subtle smokiness to the eye, Renee used Maybelline New York Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil in Lustrous Sapphire. Her eyes were finished with Maybelline New York The Colossal Big Shot Volum’Express Waterproof Mascara.
Lips: Renee used Maybelline New York Vivid Hot Lacquer in Unreal (available June 2017) to balance the rest of the look.
