With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s easy to get whisked away in the holiday hoopla of bonding with relatives, copious amount of turkey (or Tofurkey for vegetarians) and mac & cheese and the annual showing of “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”. But once dinner has been digested and you bid your great aunt adieu as she travels back home, it’s time to set your sights on the true reason for the season: shopping. Not the running of the bulls that is Black Friday, but the occasion that requires a quick hand for switching tabs and having Autofill set up on Google for a speedy checkout: Cyber Monday.

Contrary to its physically demanding counterpart, Cyber Monday can be enjoyed from the comfort of one’s own room; snuggle up with in a blanket, get cozy with a cup of cocoa and you’re ready to go! Nevertheless, jumping on the internet’s best deals demands the same precision one would apply to running around Macy’s at midnight on Black Friday. What better way to welcome an onslaught of “treat yo’self” gifts than by making sure they’re actually worth it? It’s easy to buy some platform shoes or an asymmetrical sweater just because it was on sale, but it’s easier to give your pennies to a business that’ll promise a chic look for winter and actually come through on that promise. Black owned businesses are forever slaying in the realm of creativity and style, so we’ve rounded up 10 of the internet’s favorite fashion and beauty brands you’ll be ecstatic to buy from this coming Monday.

Yea that’s unfortunate! I’ll be doing another Black owned, except for more in depth and with a video to accompany it. The list will be published within the next month or two
