5 Lingerie Brands You Need To Know

Clo Intimo

You wont see many revieling pieces from this brand, but they’re definitely not your grandmother’s panties. Each piece tells a story and possess a unique character of the woman wearing them. Strong, feminine and in control are the words that comes to mind when I think of this brand. Clo Intimo is a label that I like to call lifestyle or forever lingerie because they have different pieces and sets for any type of event or occasion in your life. Do you want pieces to lounge around in? They have it. Do you want a cute lounge around set for when your special someone is over? They have it. Do you need to pick up a few pieces to get daily wear out of? They have it. Will you be having a love-filled night and need something cute and ultra sexy? Clo Intimo has that too.

Base Range

Base Range is my go to brand when there’s a need to feel comfy and sensual with out trying. They remind me somewhat of American Apparel, but of more better quality and more thought put behind the aesthetic of the garment. If saving the environment and working with sustainable fabrics is your concern, then Base Range is your go to brand. They make it their mission to work as “clean” as possible while incorporating natural fibers such as recycled cotton, wool, organic cotton, natural silk, linen  and bamboo. Because of their un-lingerie aspect of their lingerie Their pieces are great for wearing as outerwear such as, a few of their bras and bodysuits

Relique

Relique has a delicate quality that I am super attracted to. I love soft pastel colors and enjoy the fact that I can feel uber sexy with out showing all of my body (granted it’s lingerie, but my lingerie lovers know what I mean). When you feel, see and wear each piece you undeniably see the hard work that, Chelsea and Kait, the designers of the brand,  put into their collection by hand dying the fabric and being super meticulous with the construction of the garments. Their feminine design aesthetic and  slight archectual-like structure will surely have you coming back for more. It’s also a pleasing concept when brands showcase their lingerie sets as pieces. Relique’s different colored tops and bottoms potently resembles separates. This translates well with the consumers in a more realistic fashion because in reality not to many people have time to match their bra and panties, unless the night will be one of those special kind of nights.

Noe Undergarments

Badass and sensual are my two favorite contradictions and Noe Undergarments is just that. I love pairing the hard with the soft and this brand is the perfect pick for those women who will give you a kiss after they’ve finished whooping your ass. I love lingerie that can be translated well into my everyday wardrobe and cute bustiers and soft slinky camisoles are perfect for that. This brand is transitional, uncut and super sensual. If you are also attracted by brands who are made from start to finish in the U.S.A. then Noe Undergarments is right up your alley. Each of their pieces is designed and produced right in America.

Kriss Soonik

Lingerie with character, power and quirkiness is definitely what the designer’s self titled label is all about. Sometimes the bold and serious lingerie styles tends to get mundane and just down right predictable. Kriss Soonik pulls inspiration from Manga Comics, superherroines and cult film figures. I applaud this brand for taking risk, pushing the boundaries and having fun with lingerie. Women often times feel that they have to be some Amazonian Victoria Secret Model with long hair extensions flowing in the wind and have team of super makeup artist to contour the crap out of their face, but in reality lingerie is for every type of woman no matter what you look like, where you come from and what your interest are. Kriss Soonik represents that underrepresented woman who feels a little left out or marginalized every time she walks into a lingerie store.
