For look number 1, I chose this white loose fitting jumpsuit by Raquel Allegra. This piece is perfect for those hot and humid days when you still want to look cute, but also weather appropriate. I wanted to keep this look simple by not accessorizing it to much. To give this garment contrast, I paired it with a cropped denim vest from Top Shop. The shoes are from Nasty Gal and are perfect to wear during the day and at night. If you live in a metropolitan city such as New York City, San Francisco, Chicago and etc, where walking to your destination is apart of your everyday lifestyle, owning comfortable heels that can be worn for long periods of time is paramount. For this purpose, I tend to seek out shoes with a thicker heel. Most of the times my comfortable heels will be in the form of a heeled sandal. It’s very seldom that I find pumps that I can walk around in for hours. I’m a fan of gold jewelry and I’m an even bigger fan of the combination of white and gold. The jewelry from Asos and Lionnete are great ways to accessorize a simple look. Red lipstick can go with just about any garment and for almost every occasion. The Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Magenta is a perfect red that is still bold, but can pass for a subtle look.
For the second creation, I wanted to keep the fun and comfortable element just as the jumpsuit in the street style photograph. The Current/Elliot distressed overalls paired with the jacquard textured crop top gives the outfit contrast in texture which makes it more appealing to the eye. When you’re putting together an outfit it can easily be brought to life by adding a patterned piece. The Raquel Allegra Cosmic Tie Dye Silk Blazer works great for this especially when it’s paired with the orange suede heels from Top Shop. When it comes to accessories, I wanted to stick with the gold theme. I am in love with jewelry from Lionette and their Kip ring in midnight is to die for. The Thierry Lasry sunglasses are a perfect addition to add to the outfit’s fun aspect. The Too Faced Melted in Coral will be an excellent way to give your face pop. I have very full lips and enjoy accentuating them with bold and bright colors, especially for the spring and summer months. If you guys haven’t checked out our Youtube page, check it out… NOW. We have a tutorial up of the Too Faced Melted in Violet.
For the final look, I wanted to keep the flirtatious vibe as in the street style photograph. The floral print of the jumpsuit from Forever 21 is a great piece for the season. Florals and pastel colors have been seen all over the runways from designers like Jason Wu, Rebecca Taylor and Dolce and Gabbana. Instead of adding extra clothing pieces to compliment the garment I chose to accentuate the jumpsuit by adding accessories. I guess you know by now from the last two outfits that I’m obsessing over Lionette jewelry and their Arizona necklace in blue is a great piece to compliment the pink hues is the floral jumpsuit. The River Island chain t-bar sandals offers comfortable mobility while the Jerome Dreyfuss bucket bag gives you a luxurious option of carrying items around the city. The Tom Ford sunglasses are an easy way to upscale a simple look and owing any Bite Beauty lipstick is an absolute must. Their luminous creme lipstick in vibrant orchid is perfect for adding a little extra to your flirtatious ensemble.
